Maskèdra® (patent pending) is made using 3D printing technology in biocompatible and non-toxic materials. The triple layer filter is made with certified materials and ensures active and passive protection. Maskèdra has passed the most severe tests in the sector.
The shell is equipped with a support grid for the filter, blocked by an external sealing system with mechanical safety coupling. The filters are spaced from the mouth and nose to limit physical contact and drop in efficiency due to condensation.

Equipment

Shell. TPU – thermoplastic polyurethane. Elastic, with high resilience, not deformable. Non-toxic and biocompatible. Soft touch surface finish. Dark gray color.

Grid. PA12 – nylon polyamide. Semi-rigid, light. Non-toxic and biocompatible. Smooth surface finish. Color: Grey.

Filter. Double layer of spunbond non-woven fabric (TNT) with interlacing of meltblown TNT. All TNT certified, production in EU. External element treated for resistance to liquids. Exterior color various pastel shades, white interior. Packs of 10, 25 and 50 filters.

Rubber bands. Natural rubber cords covered with polyester threads. Elongation ratio 1:3. Knotable. Dark gray color. Non-toxic toe closure.

Ideantis Srl participated with the Maskèdra project in the tender for SMEs of the Autonomous Province of Trento “Notice 1/2020” dedicated to development of innovative products to support the Covid-19 emergency, ranking first in the evaluation ranking.

Features

Surface microstructure

The structure of the internal surfaces allows condensation to be retained and conveyed to the lower channels. A simple absorbent paper pad instantly removes condensation without the need for heat.

Sizes

Maskèdra is available in 3 standard sizes (Large, Medium, Small) and 2 extra sizes (Large long and Large plus) made thanks to a study of 4,000 morphologies of faces.

Hooks for rubber bands

The shell and hooks are 3D printed together and are free of screws and clips. The safety of the shell and the hooks is not compromised by post processing and the 360​​° articulated hooks allow a continuous adaptation of the elastic to the movements of the jaw.

Profiles

The shape of the Maskèdra profiles allows for minimal contact with the skin and promotes hydration without the transfer of condensation. The skin remains dry and moisture is retained by the inner surface of the shell.

Contact points

The support surface is distributed between the cheekbones and the lower area of ​​the nose. Glasses can be used resting on the nose and the phenomenon of lens fogging is reduced to a minimum.
